Spaces Plus Privacy Policy

In short: Spaces Plus has no account, no servers, no analytics and no ads. Your data stays in Chrome on your own computer and is never sent to us or anyone else.
What Spaces Plus is
Spaces Plus is a Chrome extension by AppMotives. It shows your tabs in a vertical sidebar, organized into spaces, with favorites, pinned tabs, split view, a command bar and a library of downloads and recently closed tabs.
What Spaces Plus reads
To work, Spaces Plus reads:
- the titles, addresses and icons of your open tabs, and your tab groups
- the bookmarks in its own "Spaces Plus" bookmark folder, and your bookmarks when you search with the command bar
- your recently closed tabs and windows, for the Library
- your downloads list, for the Library
- your screen layout, to place the floating sidebar next to your browser window
It uses this only to show it in the sidebar and to do what you ask, such as switching, opening or closing a tab.
What Spaces Plus stores
Your spaces, settings and a backup list of each space's open tabs are saved on your computer with Chrome's extension storage. Favorites and pinned tabs are saved as Chrome bookmarks. If you have turned on bookmark sync in Chrome, Chrome syncs them to your Google account, the same way it syncs your other bookmarks.
What Spaces Plus shares
Nothing. Spaces Plus does not send your data to any server, does not use analytics or tracking, does not show ads, and never sells or transfers your data to anyone. It does not load any code from the internet.
Deleting your data
In Spaces Plus, open Customize and choose Start over to delete all spaces, pinned tabs, favorites and the tab backup. Removing the extension from Chrome deletes everything it stored on your computer. Bookmarks it created can also be deleted in Chrome's bookmark manager.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
